Founded in 2008 by media executive and syndicated radio host Angela “Angie Ange” Hailstorks, College is Cool is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering students on their path to higher education. What began as an arts-driven program in DC metro area schools has evolved into a student advocacy organization focused on supporting first-generation and current college students. Through mentorship, resources, and fundraising, we help students stay on track, overcome obstacles, and reach their graduation goals.

College Is Cool’s mission is to provide financial support and planning for students so that they don’t get caught in the debt trap that many struggle in today. With resources and advocacy, CIC provides options to keep students enrolled and advancing towards obtaining their degrees.
